I have been a freelance designer since 2003 and in late 2008 I started assisting a colleague that did wedding makeup.  I had always loved beauty and makeup, I just never thought I would be good at applying it to other people.  After given the opportunity, I fell in love with the art of makeup application.  A month later I went out and purchased the start of my first makeup kit and started contacting local photographers, asking them to give me a chance.  A little over a year later I was hired as lead make-up artist for Nicovision Studios. I have since helped art direct and conceptualize shoots for clients as well as do make-up full-time for the commercial studio. I attribute my success to having experience in modeling and a background in design which gives me a better understanding of being in front of the camera, behind the scenes and the overall conceptual process.

I have experience in all aspects of media make-up, offering a combination of traditional and airbrush cosmetic application.  When at all possible, I use individual, disposal applicators, brushes are cleaned and disinfected between clients and all tools are sprayed with alcohol or an appropriate cleaning solution before use. Sanitation and the safety of every client is a top priority for me. I am also very particular about the cosmetic products that I use. My kit is diverse with variety of products to ensure that clients with sensitive skin will not have allergic reactions from particular products and/or ingredients. I always encourage products that are natural, vegan and animal cruelty free.

This blog was started on December 1st, 2011 for my love of beauty products and makeup and it has turned into something I absolutely love doing.  Not only has it been awesome meeting other beauty lovers, but I've been learned new graphic skills in the process, such as designing on blogger, video editing and photography.  I was featured in April 2012 as Too Faced Level 2 Beauty Blogger of the Month and joined Pretty in my Pocket as a Power Primer in May 2012.  Honored to be the very first person in the United States to review Magnifibres in September 2012.  I am always open to reviewing beauty and cosmetic products as well as services from new and existing companies.
